Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds regarding subscriptions to the SageTalk.ai desktop application (the "Application") and related services (the "Services") provided by SynapseCore OÜ. This policy is an integral part of our Terms of Use.

1. General Subscription Policy

All fees for SageTalk.ai subscriptions are non-refundable.

When you purchase a subscription (whether monthly or annually), you are paying for access to the Service for the full duration of the selected term. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods, unused time, or if you cancel your subscription before the end of the billing cycle.

Our pricing is based on access to the Service as-is, and we do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific expectations or that the AI-generated output will be perfectly accurate or suitable for your intended purpose.

2. Subscription Cancellation

As detailed in our Terms of Use, you have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. You can manage your subscription, including cancellation, through the customer portal provided by our payment processor, Stripe.

Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active, and you will retain full access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged for any subsequent billing cycles. Canceling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of the current or previously paid subscription fees.

3. Discretionary Refunds for Exceptional Circumstances

While our standard policy is that all sales are final, we may, at our sole discretion, consider providing a full or partial refund under the following specific and verifiable circumstances:

  • Major Technical Failure: If you experience a persistent, documented technical issue that makes the core functionality of the Application completely unusable, and our technical support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe (typically 14 business days) after you have fully cooperated with our troubleshooting requests.
  • Verifiable Billing Error: If you can provide clear documentation showing you were charged incorrectly due to a system error on our part or on the part of our payment processor.

The following are explicitly not grounds for a refund:

  • Dissatisfaction with the quality, accuracy, or nature of the AI-generated suggestions or analysis.
  • Forgetting to cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
  • Not using your account or the Service during the subscription period.
  • A change of mind after purchasing.

4. How to Request a Refund Review

To request a refund review under the exceptional circumstances listed in Section 3, you must contact our support team within 30 days of the charge in question.

Please send your request to support@sagetalk.ai and include the following information:

  • The email address associated with your SageTalk.ai account.
  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • A detailed explanation of the technical failure or billing error.
  • Any relevant supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots, error messages, correspondence with support).

Our team will review your request and respond within 7-10 business days. We reserve the right to deny any refund request that does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.
